Hammocks and Hammock Chairs are  comfortable, affordable pieces of furniture.H&M Hammock Chairs have a unique design  that enables you to  adjust the back to lay or sit in them. Adding to their versatility is the ability to  hang from a single point, such as a tree limb or ceiling joist, or in the traditional way anchored from two points.   The Hammock Chair design was born in Syracuse, NY in 1979.Created by my sister Terri Koithan of Chrysalis Hammocks. The weaving  is an ancient technique called Sprang Weaving dating back thousands of years.  I have personally marketed the Hammocks and Hammock Chairs nationally since their conception. I enjoy the meditative effect of the weaving, and the creativity hand-dyeing affords. Seeing people appreciating  the comfort of the Hammock Chairs gives me incentive to keep making them.
